The first quarter of 2011 has been one of the busiest in Union Room history, with some exciting new clients on board and some great work going live. Lets have a look through what’s been happening in the last couple of months.
*New Clients*
Sanderson Young
We’ve already spoken about Sanderson Young a little bit in an earlier blog post. We’re very excited about working with one of the North East’s leading estate agents and helping them improve their online presence.
We have just entered the design stage of the project. Keep an eye on our dribbble for a sneak peek.
NHS – Support Services Partnership
SSP deliver business and technology solutions to NHS organisations across the South of the Tyne and Wear. Projector have been busy creating a fantastic brand for the company, and we will be taking that and applying it to their new website.
This will hopefully be the first of a number of exciting projects for the Support Services Partnership over the coming months.
Hoochie Coochie
From this summer, Newcastle will have a brand new live music venue, almost entirely devoted to Jazz and Soul music. Based on Pilgrim Street, Hoochie Coochie will be aiming to offer fans of live music a completely new way to see established artists and experience the best in modern and contemporary Jazz.
A1 Blinds
We’ll be helping A1 blinds set up their very first eCommerce website. A1 have a reputation as one of the leading suppliers of blinds in the North East, and are looking to promote their business more effectively.
Picture Canning North
Over the past three years Picture Canning North has grown to be a major supplier of quality broadcast equipment and crew to all major UK and international production companies working throughout the northern region and beyond. Picture Canning work with some leading broadcast companies, such as National Geographic.
Union Room will be providing Picture Canning with a new website design and build, the aim of which is to help position the company alongside national and international competitors.
Families Talking
Families Talking are a Tees Valley based charity, and we’ve been helping them set up a brand new website which will help provide mediation, children’s counselling and support for family members during separation. The design of the website has been something really different for us, and we’re excited to hear what people make of the site when it goes live.
*New Work*
Citrus Event Staffing
In the last 5 weeks, we have been busy developing one of the most complex bespoke systems we’ve ever done. What we’re building will completely change the way that Citrus work, and make it easier than ever to sign up for festival staffing.
We’ll hopefully grab some time to do a full case study on the project sometime soon.
Bespoke Radio iPhone App
Bespoke Radio’s Jamie Wilkinson came back to Union Room looking for help in setting up his first iPhone app. We can’t say too much about what he has in store at the moment, but keep an eye on our blog for more news on this soon (a small clue, it involves a famous person who used to have a moustache…..).
Surfer’s Paradise
After the successful launch of the new Parkdean Holidays website in December of last year, we are working on our first big project in 2011 for Parkdean. Surfer’s Paradise is a a fantastic opportunity for Surfers to book space only seconds away from the stunning coast at Croyde Bay.
*Recently Launched*
Vehicle Lease and Service
We recently launched the new VLS website at http://www.vls-ltd.com.
We have been working with VLS since late 2010 on a number of projects, including a full back-office system which they hope will change the way they work and interact with their clients. This system includes a full content management system and the ability to completely control a structure of files which they offer to a sub-section of users.
As you can see, it’s been a busy start to the year so far and it doesn’t look like things are slowing down. We’re on the lookout for a new developer to help us manage our workload, you can drop [email protected] an email for more details.
