Matfen Hall is a 5-star luxury estate surrounded by the captivating Northumberland landscape. Offering a true escape, Matfen hosts an unforgettable experience from luxury rooms, a spa retreat, golfing packages and a fine dining restaurant. It’s no surprise the estate is an award-winning location for weddings and events.

The new owners of Matfen Hall approached our team in need of a new website that reflected the grand refurbishment of the estate; this included integrating a new booking engine to improve the customer journey when booking an experience at Matfen Hall. Equally, the new site had to be able to cater for a large number of online visitors, particularly mobile devices.

Working closely with Projector Brand Communications who provided a new brand outlook including new photography and content, we also supported a flexible website style that ensured many new campaigns could be added to the site alongside social media marketing strategies.
Using a heavily customised WordPress platform, we built a fully flexible and editable website for Matfen, this incorporated a 3rd party booking system. Understanding how Matfen’s clients would interact with the site, the website build was created responsively with mobile users in mind.
